Archaeological Department

Archaeological Department was founded in 2004 by merging Archaeological and Medieval departments. The department stores hundreds of thousands object from the earliest period of human history to early modern age. 21 research workers and two administrators look after the historical objects. Several exhibitions and the great number of recognized publications justify the department's valuable work.
